Yaling has worked as a legal counsel since 2003 to handle high-profile cases related to trademark prosecution, anti-counterfeiting work and IP infringement disputes. She has accumulated rich experience in the fields of trademark applications, trademark protection, and enforcement in the U.S. and China.
Throughout her career, Yaling has handled hundreds of IP protection and enforcement cases and consulted thousands of trademark strategic planning, applications, oppositions, cancellations, and maintenance.
Before becoming a New York State and Connecticut State licensed attorney, Yaling has worked in well-known IP firms in China for eleven years. She specialized in helping clients to build up the solid defense of IPR and in organizing and coordinating various IPR protection projects. Her practice covered judicial and administrative protection of various intellectual property rights in China. She has advised numerous European and North American companies on related IP protection issues in China. Yaling and her supportive team handled nearly one thousand anti-counterfeiting, infringement and patent infringement cases. She supervised hundreds of enforcement actions against both regular counterfeiters and online sellers.
