Tao served in GE Global Patent Operation in the United States for years and served as the head of the overseas business department of a famous intellectual property service entity in China for 10 years, in charge of overseas trademark consultancy and management, from which Tao has accumulated rich experiences in case handling and management. In addition to providing overseas intellectual property consultancy services for enterprises in China, Tao is also good at providing professional training on intellectual property protection consultancy for large enterprises and local governments, especially professional training on overseas trademark protection. He has provided overseas trademark protection training services for local trade departments and local enterprises in Beijing, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other places for several times.

  • 1. Representing Kingsoft and Kingsoft Cloud in successfully registering more than 300 trademarks in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Russia and other regions; during the period, WANG successfully overcame the obstacles of US trademark "" and "KINGSOFT CLOUD", removing legal obstacles of overseas trademarks before IPO, helping Kingsoft Cloud to successfully land on the Nasdaq in the United States in May 2020 and be listed;
  • 2. Representing Lianjia Group in negotiation and settlement with GENTEX in the global disputes concerning trademark and trade name of "homelink" in the United States, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and other places, and successfully handling for more than 100 trademarks in the United States, removing legal obstacles of overseas trademarks before IPO, avoiding global trademark conflicts, and helping BEIKE ZHAOFANG under Lianjia to successfully land on the New York Stock Exchange in August 2020 and be listed;

Representing JAC Automobile Group in opposition and settlement with Mercedes-Benz Group (Mercedes-Benz) regarding the trademarks "" and "" in more than 20 countries, such as the Benelux, Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine, Egypt, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Nigeria, etc., enabling JAC Automobile Group’s trademark "" to be unconditionally registered and protected in all interested countries;
  • 4. Representing AUX Group in trademark infringement cases, suing the distributors' malicious registration and use of the trademarks "" and "" in Thailand, Chile, Mexico and other countries, and finally cancelling all malicious pirated trademarks, overcoming obstacles hindering the client's trademark registration, and winning overseas lawsuits in quite a few foreign countries;
  • 5. Representing New Belle Group in answering to litigation initiated by Bata on trademark infringement of the mark "" and cancellation of registered trademark in Italy, successfully defending the exclusive right of New Belle Group to use the registered trademark "" in Italy;

Representing Xinhua Education Group in answering to lawsuit initiated by US Monsters, in negotiation and settlement regarding the coexistence of the US trademarks "" " and "" in the United States, and finally reaching a settlement agreement, enabling the client's core items to be successfully registered and protected in the United States;
  • 7. Representing World Jaguar Logistics in answering to infringement lawsuit initiated by the British Jaguar Land Rover regarding the trademark "" in Hong Kong, and through settlement negotiation, enabling the client's core items to be successfully registered and protected in Hong Kong;

Representing ARCAIR in negotiation and settlement with Hypertechnologie Ciara (one of the largest computer hardware solution providers in Canada), reaching a settlement agreement for the trademark "" in India, the United States and Canada, successfully maintaining the client's core items in the above countries;

Representing ThunderSoft in reaching a coexistence agreement with Plaisio Computers (the largest electronic product distributor in Greece) regarding the trademark "" in 28 EU countries, and through multiple rounds of settlement negotiation, enabling the client's marks to avoid conflict in respect of core items;
